"We had a great time, it was stress free and fun to get the pictures taken! We are so thrilled with our portraits! It was great to have so many options from background and setting, family photos to individual, to the type of textures and finishes on the photo itself. Thank you so much!"

Textures

A couple of weekends ago we went on a little family vacation to Prineville, Or.  While there, I had the chance to wander and take some scenic pictures as well as some macro detail pictures.  I had this idea that I could take pictures of the textures and colors in the rocks, plants and trees and then bring them home and play with them in photoshop to make some earthy digital backdrops.  I thought it could either look really lame or really great and unique but that I wouldn't know unless I tried.  So here is a sample of the textures I collected:

I'm not really into digital backdrops, but the colors and textures of the landscape there were so rich and beautiful and I love earth tones.  I wonder if there is some way I can use them in my work.  This last one is just a fine art shot.  The moss was such a vibrant color-it's incredible that nature makes such  colors like this.
