A week ago Tuesday, Tiffany, my trusty assistant, and I had the opportunity to photograph Alyssa and Matt's wedding. We had visitted the temple the day before at the time we would be taking pictures so we could scope out some good spots. That was a real advantage to us on the wedding day because we ended up having much less time to photograph the bride and groom before the sealing but we knew already exactly what we wanted so we were able to get it done and get it done right. I was grateful to have Tiffany there- she served as my nerve-calmer, my confidence builder, my brain (the part that was blocked because of nerves), my go-to woman, my reflector holder, my list checker, my gear babysitter and my people gatherer.
Here are some of my favorites:

I designed these holiday cards for my sister and I'm happy with how they turned out. The snowflakes are actually real snowflakes that had been photographed and then I took the pictures into Photoshop and colored them green. But the snowflake designs I attribute to the Artist above. They're quite beautiful close up.
I did not take the family pictures or my niece's pictures in the card-they did that at home and then I adjusted and arranged them. These cards are 5X5 and we designed them to fold down at the top.

Mich is my sister-in-law and I snuck away on Thanksgiving afternoon with her and her husband for a session. It was a little chilly and a lot of fun. Since we were all at my in-laws home, and Ben grew up a couple of blocks from Mich (they are high-school sweethearts:), the scenery in the pictures has a lot of meaning to them. Much of this land has been sold but won't be developed until the market picks up again. It is likely that the silo in the pictures, which is kind of an historical landmark for those who grew up there, will be torn down soon.
After I instructed them to act like an engaged couple they claimed to make it back to Cloud 6.5 or even 7, and this after two years of marriage. They are comfortably affectionate which made things a little easier for me:). We were all happy with the results.
