Last week the camas lilies came into bloom and so Emma and I forged our way to the top of a local hill that is covered in the blue/purple lilies and and we did a session of pictures with the purpose of incorporating her writing profession into the images.  She is a talented writer-I love her writing style.  It is a very sincere perspective on life.  Her work can be found on her blog at

This last one was my first attempt at using my prinesville textures for the background.  Not sure what I think...I like it because I think it takes attention away from the background and looks antiquey.  But I'm not sure what I'll think later.
