About the Photographer

Portrait photography brings together my passions for art and for people. My goal is always to make a session enjoyable for the subject(s), while producing quality portraits that remind my subject(s) of their best self and the beauty in their relationships with those they love. With young families, I enjoy using a playful approach that captures the emotional interactions between family members. With single individuals and older families, I like getting to know my subjects while I carefully set up and capture my shots. I am always grateful for the opportunity to photograph.

My Fine Arts education from the University of Oregon, as well as training with photographers Deanne Parry, Don Busath, Drake Busath, Missy Cochran, and web designer and artist, Gavin Castleton, have provided me with the skills to create beautifully finished portraits for all clients.

I am the mother of two little boys, whose energy levels keep me in good shape, and a baby boy.  I am the wife of a high school spanish teacher, who I adore.  I love being a mother and a wife.  I enjoy active games with my boys, reading, art exploration, and religious and community service work.
